Hide and Seek Review/Recap

           Total spoilers!!!!!

Hide and Seek started out a little slow for my taste, but Sara Shepard did deliver. It started with Emma still thinking Laural killed Sutton. She later figures out that she was in the hospital all night. The Mr. Mercer starts looking very suspicious because he was seen with a mysterious woman by Thayer the night he was ran down and Sutton was murdered. Mr. Mercier is really looking like the bad, acting strange and violent. Emma starts staying at her friend’s house to avoid dad. Emma trusts Ethan so much, when I think it’s a bad idea. How was it possible for Ethan to tell that Emma wasn’t Sutton when her family, friends, and Thayer the love of Sutton’s life couldn’t? Shady much….? I think yes! Speaking of Thayer he’s trying to move on, but can’t he loves Sutton too much and him and Laural aren’t together. Emma starts to investigate about this mystery and tries to meet her. She’s unsuccessful, but the mystery woman leaves her a letter and picture of herself. A moment later Mr. Mercer shows up and tells Emma (Sutton) the truth. Mystery woman is Becky/ Raven Mercer!!!! She’s the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. M. The Mercers are actually the grandparents of Emma and Sutton. Becky and Laural are sisters. This only leaves me and Emma with more questions. The book ends with Emma and Thayer talking and then Becky shows up!

Hex Hall 3: Spell Bound Review

Total spoilers!!
Spell Bound was mostly about Sophie saving the Prodigium world from Lara and her demon raising self. Which of course she does, but not without losing Cal as well. I can’t believe he was just killed like nothing. It felt like his death was plain and pointless. He was my favorite character so maybe I’m biased, but he really loved Sophie and died to help her and the prodigiums. I felt like Cal was too good for Sophie but I still wanted them together. On to other things, Sophie finds out her mother used to be and still kind of is a Brannick. Sophie eventually gets her powers back. She, Cal, Jenna, and archer got the underworld to collect demonglass. While in the underworld they see terrible things of their past and present. Nick and Archer are cousins. Archer finds out his real name was Daniel Anderson. After they have collected the demonglass they go to Hex Hall to fight Lara and all the student who have been into demons. The students are all saved for the most part. Nick and Daisy are saved. RIP Cal :(

Overall very entertaining and I recommend!

Hunger Game Hotties!

Not so exciting summer day.

Tried Fish City Grill for the first time. It was really good for a fish place. Then went to Barnes and Noble for a CD and got my brother and niece a book each. This place always seems to calm me down :)

“I’m so sorry,” I whisper. I lean forward and kiss him.
His eyelashes flutter and he looks at me through a haze of opiates. “Hey, Catnip.”
“Hey, Gale,” I say.
“Thought you’d be gone by now,” He says.
My choices are simple. I can die like a quarry in the woods or I can die here beside Gale. “I’m not going anywhere. I’m going to stay right here and cause all kinds of trouble.”
“Me, too,” Gale says. He just manages a smile before the drugs pull him back under.”
